Privacy

This describes what Meridian actually stores, rather than the widest set of things it might conceivably do. If the product changes, this page changes with it.

If you clicked a Meridian link

You are a buyer, not a customer of ours, and we hold no account for you. When a link is opened we record four things: which link it was, the two-letter country code the request arrived from, which pricing region matched, and the time.

We do not store your IP address. We do not set cookies on the redirect. There is no tracking pixel, no fingerprinting, and no advertising identifier. The country comes from Cloudflare, which resolves it at the network edge before the request reaches us.

We also record whether the request appeared to come from a datacenter or VPN range. This is stored as a single true or false flag so sellers can see how much of their discounted traffic is not what it looks like.

A two-letter country code and a timestamp cannot reasonably identify you. We keep it because a seller needs to know which countries their buyers come from to price for them.

If you sell with Meridian

We store your account details, your links, the regions and destination URLs you configure, and the prices you record against them. Prices you enter are labels for your own reference; Meridian does not charge anyone.

Who else sees it

Cloudflare runs the redirect and provides the country. Supabase hosts the database. Netlify hosts the dashboard. Each processes data on our behalf under their own terms. We do not sell data, and we do not share it with advertisers, because we do not have an advertising business.

Your rights

Sellers can export or delete their links and click records at any time; deleting a link removes its click records with it. Because buyer records contain no identifier, we cannot locate a specific person's clicks on request, which also means we cannot use them to build a profile of anyone.
