What we provide

Meridian routes a click to a URL you chose, based on the country the request arrives from. That is the whole service. We are not a payment processor, a merchant of record, or a party to any transaction between you and your buyers.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for what your links point at, for the prices you charge, and for complying with the law wherever you sell, including tax, consumer protection, and any rules about differential pricing in your markets. You are responsible for your own payment provider's terms.

Do not use Meridian to route people to malware, to disguise the destination of a link for deceptive purposes, or to price by any characteristic other than region.

Country detection is a best effort

Country is determined from network information supplied by Cloudflare. It is usually right and sometimes wrong. VPNs, corporate networks, satellite connections and travel all produce a country that is not where the person lives, and we do not guarantee any particular accuracy. Countries we cannot place fall through to the fallback destination you set, which is why setting one is required to publish a link.

Availability

We aim to keep the redirect running continuously and make no uptime guarantee. If our database is unavailable the redirect keeps working, because the routing layer reads its own edge storage rather than the database. Configuration changes may take up to a minute to reach every location.

Liability

The service is provided as is. We are not liable for lost sales, mispriced sales, or revenue lost to someone obtaining a regional price they were not entitled to. If you need a guarantee about who pays what, enforce it at checkout, where the money actually moves.

Ending it

You can delete your links and close your account at any time. Deleted links stop resolving immediately, and anyone holding one will get an error rather than a redirect.
